Email address — only if you voluntarily join the BSI waitlist. We collect your email address and your preference regarding optional build updates. Nothing else.
Usage data — we may collect anonymized usage data including pages visited, time on page, and general geographic region (country/state level). This data does not identify you personally.
Local storage — BSI stores your theme preference (dark/light mode) and cached data in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
We do not collect: names, addresses, phone numbers, payment information, social media handles, or any other personal identifying information beyond your email address if you choose to provide it.
We do not use your email for marketing, promotions, newsletters, or any communication beyond what you explicitly agreed to when joining the waitlist.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your email address or any personal information with third parties for any purpose. Ever.
We use Formspree (formspree.io) to process waitlist form submissions. Formspree is a form processing service that stores submitted data on our behalf. Their privacy policy is available at formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
We retain your email address until the BSI app launches and the waitlist has been notified, or until you request deletion, whichever comes first. After the launch notification has been sent, waitlist email addresses are purged from our records.
You may request deletion of your email address at any time by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Delete my data." We will process your request within 5 business days.
EU/EEA users (GDPR): You have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your personal data. You also have the right to object to processing and to withdraw consent at any time. Contact us at [email protected] to exercise these rights.
BSI does not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. We use localStorage (browser storage) for theme preferences and data caching. This is stored locally on your device only and is not transmitted to any server.
BSI displays data from third-party sources including Yahoo Finance, CoinGecko, Alternative.me, FRED (Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis), CoinGlass, and Glassnode. When your browser loads BSI, it may make requests to these services to retrieve live data. These services have their own privacy policies which govern any data they collect from those requests.
BSI is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of BSI after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
